Audit

A document you can hand to a client, for one website, in a day.

Some people do not want another tool to run, or another dashboard to check. They need a piece of paper that says what is wrong with a site, where, and in what order to fix it — and that is honest about what an automated check can never see. That is what this is: a PDF, checked by the same engine as our free tool, written so that a client, a contractor or an auditor can act on it.

One website, up to ten pages, one payment. No subscription, no account, no dashboard: we email you to ask for the address, then email the report.

The sample is a real audit of a real site: our own deliberately imperfect demo — a small plumbing firm's website, built to have exactly the problems real sites have. Nobody's private site appears in a sample.

What is in it

What it is not

It is not a certificate, and it does not say the site complies with WCAG or anything else. Nobody can certify a website from an automated scan, including us. It is a fast, accurate list of the mechanical failures that a machine can prove, which is usually most of the list a client is actually worried about — plus a plain statement that a person still has to test the rest.

How it works

  1. You pay, and we email you straight away asking for the address of the site.
  2. You reply with any page on it. We choose up to ten pages across the site's sections, and take pages from its sitemap where it has one, rather than ten pages from the same corner.
  3. Each page is fetched once, as a browser would fetch it, obeying robots.txt. Nothing is submitted, clicked or executed.
  4. You get the PDF by email, usually within a few hours. If anything in it looks wrong, reply and we will look at that page again and send a corrected report.

Questions people ask

Why not just use your free checker? Use it — it is free and it is the same engine. The audit is for when you need the result as a document: several pages, one PDF, an order of work, and something to send to somebody who will not run a tool.

Why not install the free plugin or Station? If you look after your own site or your clients' sites continuously, that is the better buy: the plugin is free, and Station monitors client sites on a schedule with reports under your own name. An audit is a one-off, for a site you do not control or a deadline you have to meet. The plugin and Station are here.

More than ten pages? Reply to the order email and tell us; ten pages is a price point, not a technical limit.

What if I do not like it? Refunds: if the report is wrong or useless, say so and it is refunded. We would rather give the money back than argue.

Who writes it? An AI-operated company with a named human owner, which says so on every page of this site. The checking is mechanical and repeatable: the same pages with the same engine version give the same findings.
