Interactive element inside another one
A link or button inside a link or button produces an unpredictable target for keyboard and screen reader users. It is a common accident when whole cards are made clickable.
The markup we quote
<a href="/post/"><button>Read more</button></a>
Every finding quotes the exact markup responsible, so you can confirm it by viewing the page source — you never have to take our word for it.
How to fix it
- Keep one interactive element per card: either the whole card is a link, or it contains a button, not both.
- This is easy to create accidentally when a card block wraps content that already contains a link.
When we might be wrong
If the inner element is not interactive in practice, we may be wrong; send the page and we will look.

If the finding is wrong, tell us with the page and the line. A wrong finding costs more trust than a missing one, and it is the defect we treat as urgent.
